Laughary, Sandra Sue “Sandy”, 70, loving mother, grandmother and sister of Wichita, KS passed away Fri. Mar. 27, 2015 in Wichita, KS. Sandy was born on July 29, 1944 in Dodge City, KS the daughter of Eddie and Lucy Wise. Sandy worked many jobs throughout her life even past the retirement from USD 259 in Wichita. After her retirement with USD 259 she worked for USF Dugan and Price Truckline until she was forced by her illness to her final retirement. Laughary, Sandra Sue “Sandy”, 70, loving mother, grandmother and sister of Wichita, KS passed away Fri. Mar. 27, 2015 in Wichita, KS. Sandy was born on July 29, 1944 in Dodge City, KS the daughter of Eddie and Lucy Wise. Sandy worked many jobs throughout her life even past the retirement from USD 259 in Wichita. After her retirement with USD 259 she worked for USF Dugan and Price Truckline until she was forced by her illness to her final retirement. Her dedication to her work and family was the most important to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt and uncle, Betty and “Corky” Corkham. Survivors include her loving children, Nancy Jo (Laughary) Combs, Chere (Jon) Meeks, Tommy (Amy) Laughary, sisters, Kala Marshall, Tammy (Dale Reif) Wise, grandchildren, Dallas Torney, Jon and Brianna Meeks, Trevor and Shane Laughary all of Wichita. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2pm on Thurs. April 2, 2015 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita.
